This is a commission for a friend of her fiancé's original character, Rico Rociada.

This was commissioned as linework only; no background, tones, or coloring. Final price was $25.

I had free reign to do whatever I liked concerning the pose and his clothing. I only had two reference images provided by the commissioner and used details from both to achieve this combined/modified look for Rico.

Instead of doing a simple standing pose or typical action pose, I thought it would be cool to draw him pwning some thugs. After thinking about who I was doing this for and remembering that she isn't very fond of Cloud Strife or Squall Leonhart, the nameless/faceless thugs became those two. I added Zidane Tribal and Tidus in the lower left for laughs.

A couple of things to note:

1) After attempting to draw Squall's hair falling back realistically, I gave up since it wasn't really looking like him. Assumption? He uses the same kind of hair products as Cloud.

2) I only referenced the original games' artwork for each character, not Dissidia or any other spinoffs.
