The Cast of Eternal Illusion:

Lucifer   Lucifer

   Race: Fallen Angel
   Class: Ruler of Hell
   Age: Unknown
   Alignment: Neutral

Once a high ranking official in God's angelic hierarchy, Lucifer was banished from Heaven to serve time in Hell as punishment for his pride. As the first angel to sin against his creator, he became the appointed ruler of Hell by default. The series of events to follow were catastrophic, to say the least. With the corruption of humanity under his belt, Lucifer didn't have to do much else to be known as the root of sin and evil.

These days, Lucifer spends his time thinking up schemes to get back at God for banishing him from Heaven. His latest adventure involves observing humanity to prove to all of Heaven that he was right and humans aren't worth bowing to. Will it go as planned?

Ryn McKenna   Ryn McKenna

   Race: Human
   Class: High School Senior
   Age: 17
   Alignment: Good

Ryn attends San Dimas High School as a senior. Juggling a part-time job and the baseball team with her academic curriculum, she doesn't have much time for anything else. A boyfriend? Who has time for that? Ryn had far more important things to concern herself with. Unlike most girls her age, having a man in her life was the last thing on her mind. Her primary goals were to move out of her mother's house and attend college at a far, far away university.

All in all, her life seemed to be going according to plan—until that unfortunate night when she was held up at gunpoint. A chance encounter with an unlikely hero threatens to change the course of her life forever. Will she let herself be guided by fate or fight against it?

Azrael   Azrael

   Race: Archangel
   Class: Angel of Death
   Age: Unknown
   Alignment: Neutral

Being the angel of death wasn't all it was cracked up to be. As one of the busiest angels in Heaven, it was Azrael's duty to record the birth and death of every human being on Earth. He never knows when someone is to die, so he cannot prevent death.

Given his position as the angel of death, it comes as an odd request when he is asked by his superior to play "Guardian Angel" to a human girl. What could he have in mind for this girl? Was she really so special to warrant a watchful Heavenly eye?

God   God

   Race: Unknown
   Class: Ruler of Heaven
   Age: Unknown
   Alignment: Neutral

Beelzebub   Beelzebub

   Race: Fallen Angel
Class: Chief Lieutenant of Hell; Lucifer's Second-in-Command
   Age: Unknown
   Alignment: Evil

Formerly a high ranking official in Heaven, Beelzebub was banished to Hell alongside Lucifer after rebelling against God. Since his fall, he has spent his time building himself a reputation as one of humanity's greatest enemies. He loves to stir up chaos amongst mortals, particularly in the forms of tyranny, war, and general destruction.

As the first cherub to stand with Lucifer against God, Beelzebub earned himself the position of Lucifer's second-in-command in Hell. Despite this privilege, Beelzebub has very little power over his fellow fallen angels. Seen as one who rode the coattails of others during his reign in Heaven, Beelzebub lacks the respect of his comrades he feels he deserves.

In light of such disrespect, Beelzebub has tried revolting against Lucifer numerous times over the years. (To date, none have been successful.) His latest endeavor involves the aid of his closest ally, Asmodeus. Together, the two plan to ban Lucifer from returning to Hell and usurp the throne during his absence.

Asmodeus   Asmodeus

   Race: Fallen Angel
Class: Chief Sergeant of Hell; Beelzebub's Second-in-Command
   Age: Unknown
   Alignment: Evil

Asmodeus was one of the many followers of Lucifer and Beelzebub in the great rebellion. Allying himself with Beelzebub after their fall, he managed to guarantee himself a high ranking position in Hell's council.

In human lore, Asmodeus is cited as being the demon of lust, gambling, and other miscellaneous evils. Not one to disappoint, he lives up to his reputation as a lustful gambler and has become somewhat popular with the ladies. He has sired numerous offspring and is the overseer of all the gambling houses in Hell.

Not one for drama, Asmodeus seems to always find himself being dragged into unsavory situations with Beelzebub. His latest scheme? Another attempt at overthrowing Lucifer. If for nothing more than to cure his own boredom, Asmodeus chooses to humor Beelzebub and goes along with yet another of his sure-to-fail plans.

Michael   Michael

   Race: Archangel
Class: Chief Lieutenant of Heaven; God's Second-in-Command
   Age: Unknown
   Alignment: Good

As one of the first angels created by God, Michael has maintained perhaps the closest relationship with his creator. Acting as God's second-in-command, he is tasked with the more crucial duties in Heaven and is one of the few God trusts to carry out his orders without fail.

Given his serious demeanor, Michael is often viewed as a "stick in the mud" amongst his peers. He rarely allows himself to rest and sees it as his personal responsibility to keep his fellow angels in check. If it weren't for him, Heaven would certainly be in chaos . . . more so than it already is.

Upon discovering that Lucifer is Earth bound again, Michael is ordered by God to handle the situation and return Lucifer to his rightful place in Hell.

Uriel   Uriel

   Race: Archangel
   Class: N/A
   Age: Unknown
   Alignment: Good

Like Michael, Uriel was also one of the first angels created by God. As such, he has a very close bond with his creator whom he has affectionately dubbed "G-Dawg" (which, for the record, God is perfectly fine with).

Uriel is by far the most laid back angel in Heaven. His naivete and happy-go-lucky attitude make him a terrible candidate for serious jobs, which he has proven time and time again since the Eden incident.

As luck would have it, Azrael's mishap on a special assignment from God turns around in Uriel's favor. With no one else available for the job, God reluctantly assigns him to be Ryn's guardian angel. Unknowing of the task ahead of him, Uriel accepts the position with a beaming smile and high hopes. After all, how difficult could watching over one mortal girl be?
